Friends that paint together, stay together
It started with a simple question on Facebook: "Does anyone know a mural artist in Poway?"
Six months later Kiara Bowser and Alyssa Thompson were standing in front of a mural dedicated to the future of the students of Pomerado Elementary school. The girls, friends since kindergarten, were working toward their Girl Scout silver award and wanted to give back to the school that had meant so much to them. They teamed-up with Lacy and, under her direction in studio, created a masterpiece that adorns the walls of Pomerado Elementary. "Training for the Future" is a mural that will inspire children to strive for what's possible: a successful career and a strong education. Read more about it in the San Diego Union Tribune.
